One of the things I love most about beach weddings are their simplicity. Simple decorations, simply and beautifully dressed wedding parties, that simple backdrop of the ocean. There is something so beautiful about a bride and groom, dressed in white linen -- embroidered shirts and simple sheaths -- that fits so well with the sound of waves. Of course, having a wedding in a church has its own beauty and solemnity too...but there is just something so special about getting married (or renewing vows) outside at sunrise or sunset. The way the ocean and the sun play off of each other to create these incredible colors that are indescribable.
